A quiet winter, mostly at home, gave me time to look back at how I got here.
Last summer, Figma Make came out, and I was hooked. You describe an app in plain words, and it builds a working version you can click through. So I built just about anything I could think of.
Then I started using Claude Code. You describe the change, and agents write and run the code. Every project pulled me a little further in.
Now I want more than an app that works. I want to understand how it’s put together: how a React app is structured, what Next.js adds, where the data lives. I want to talk architecture with engineers in their terms, not only show them screens.
My first project to learn on is an idea I’ve had since I started DJing: letting the room pick the music.
